Hello, world!
I've been so focused lately on my body lotions and eye creams lately that I have totally forgotten about my face! I was not sure about this face mask at first, because it seemed anti-all natural beauty, but I'm desperate here, people! So I broke my rule, and made a mask that uses a gel face wash. I'm not going to say that this is the most amazing blackhead extractor, but I use this as a primer for Biore Nose Strips; yet another guilty pressure that I am ashamed of but can't give up. Enjoy, stay fresh, send comments!

Step 1:
Grab a small bowl, and squeeze in about 3 to 4 pumps of any gel face wash. Stir in 1 TBS of kosher salt, and then 1 TBS of baking soda. Mix until you have a thick paste with granules of salt. Steam your face for 3 to 5 minutes. Important: do this after you make the mask so that it goes on immediately after being steamed. Follow this link to learn exactly how to steam your face safely:

Step 2:
Spread this mixture over your face immediately after you have steamed. Leave it on for 5 minutes, and you will start to feel a slight tingling over your cheeks and nose. Wash off with warm water and then apply a nose strip immediately if you choose to do one, following the directions on the box. Enjoy, send comments, stay fresh!
