Hello, world!
It's back: chilly weather, Starbuck's Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and dry skin. Where I'm from, the fall and winter are really tough on skin, especially if your is sensitive like mine. Luckily, I found an AMAZING body butter recipe. I cannot put into words how much I am loving this stuff. It is super easy to make, non-greasy, and smells like heaven. Trust me, you'll be sniffing your hands all day! You need to make this body butter; it's luxurious and leaves skin velvety smooth, without being ridiculously expensive! Enjoy, stay fresh, send comments!

Step 1:

Set up your blender with a wire whisk attachment. Scoop out 1 cup coconut oil, 1 tsp vitamin E oil (totally optional), and any essential oil/extract. I used a fake coconut flavoring, because the scent was divine. Whisk well for about 5 to 7 minutes, on medium-high. The final product should be fluffy, almost like a thicker whipped cream.

Step 2:
Using a spatula, scrape mixture into a clean glass jar or whatever container you've chosen to use. If you live somewhere very hot, stick this in the fridge when not in use so that it doesn't melt. Like I said, it has already gotten chillier here, so I left mine on the kitchen counter and it was good to go. To make an easy-peasy gift of this, slap on a cute label and a ribbon. Enjoy!

The final product! I leave this in the bathroom and slather a bit on after I shower to lock in moisture, and before going out so that I smell coconutey and tropical
