Hello, again!
A long day of in uncomfortable ballet flats means that your feet deserve some serious TLC. I found a great, easy scrub that worked very well. It is only two ingredients, three if you want to add essential oil. I used it twice in one sitting, because this makes plenty. First, I just wet my legs and feet with a wet washcloth, and scrubbed my skin until if felt soft and clean. Second, I rubbed a little bit onto my hands, and rinsed off all of the scrub with warm water. Enjoy your amazingly soft skin!

I know the picture shows fine granulated sugar, but I used regular granulated sugar and Bartolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO).

Step 1:
In a small bowl, preferably tupperware for easy storage, combine 1 cup sugar and enough EVOO, probably about 2 TBS or so, to make a thick but slightly wet mixture. If you want, you can now add a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Warning: some recipes may say that you can use vanilla extract, but if you want a yummy smell, stick to peppermint or lavender.

Step 2:
Before you hop in the shower or bath, slather a handful of the scrub onto wet legs and feet. For as long as you want, scrub the mixture and massage it into your skin. I suggest taking a shower when you do this scrub, just because it won't leave as much gross residue around the tub.  Rinse off with warm water, not too hot. You can refrigerate any extra body scrub for later use. Enjoy! Tell me how this worked for you, I love having readers comment on posts.
